Jewellery

The best way to care for your 925 sterling silver or gold filled jewellery, is to clean it with a silver-polishing cloth. Liquid jewellery dips are not recommended as the chemicals used can cause excessive wear and end up stripping of the jewellery finishing. Avoid rubbing rings against other surfaces (such as resting your hands on the steering wheel) and remove rings when doing heavy work. This will prevent scratches on the jewellery surface.

Always remove your jewellery before taking a shower, swimming or doing any cleaning. Always keep your jewellery away from water, moisture, or airborne chemicals (soaps or perfumes) which can cause discolouration and tarnishing. so it is recommended to store in a plastic zip bag when not in use in order to minimise any negative impact. Always remove your jewellery before sleeping. Movement during sleeping can cause excessive wear on the metal surface, and can stress and even break chains.

Make it a habit that your jewellery is the last thing you put on in the morning, and the first thing you take off at night. This will avoid excessive wear.
